The purpose of this exercise is to render the 3-D representation of the Block Diagram given its parametric representation. It is the converse of the previous exercise. You can do this on your own or with a friend.
1) Hide the Block Diagram by dragging the window off the bottom of the screen or hiding it behind another window (like this one).
2) Choose a structure and specify its parameters. Choose those structures and parameters that you have trouble visualizing or need work on for other reasons. Alternatively, open a document from the disk.
3) On a piece of paper, draw the Block Diagram as you think it will appear as a result of the structural operation.
4) Make the Block Diagram visible and compare your guess with the actual result.
5) Vary the parameters or structure and try again.
• As you get better at this, try to draw the 3-D representation of the result of two or three structural operations.
